Hi, Hello! My name is Sarah - the writer behind redgregory.com.
When You Delete A Page In Notion It Doesn't Go Away Forever.
This morning I rummaged through the trash bin in my Notion workspace for an unfinished article I wanted to revisit. What I found instead was a treasure trove of past projects left behind.
It felt a bit like digging up old memories going through these pages. Thought I'd share a few notable ones I found.
(1/14/21) That One Time I Tried To Tackle The Spaced-Repetition Algorithm For A Video
This is in my wheelhouse, but I was really over my head thinking I could fully comprehend this rather complicated algorithm in a weekend.
(11/7/20) When I Got Covid In November And Documented My Symptoms ... I'd Like To Delete This Memory Forever
I had a rough go with COVID over a period of 2-3 weeks. I was not expecting harsh symptoms due to my young age. Reality hit pretty hard here.
(12/13/20) I Wanted To Create A Complex Cascading Survey For My Book Draft Only To Find A Simpler Approach
Sometimes it's fun to go off the deep end with Notion databases but simple is always better, or rather, efficiency is the optimal word.
(10/06/20) I Also Found A Ton Of Guides For My YouTube Tutorials That Let Me Explain My Process Quickly
For every video I have a detailed guide in another window on my computer AND printed next to me for maximum flow. I get very nervous on camera so I need these guides to get me through the "ums" and "uhs."
(8/12/20) Fun Databases That Never Saw The Light Of Day
On a particularly boring day over the summer I set out to make a Notion page that documented the progress of Apple's default app designs. It was a cool idea but I ran out of day and never got around to finishing it. Maybe one of my readers looking for a fun project could give it a shot.
As well, categorized in fun databases is this Frank Ocean discography wiki I abandoned. I wanted to explore an editorial style in Notion here.
