How I Create A Rough Draft For Notion Templates

πŸ›
The process of building Notion templates begins with an idea. That idea turns into a rough draft. That rough draft is polished into a final template of which is explained in a comprehensive article. This is the pipeline of my Notion content. Above is the rough draft stage using whimsical graphs. These graphs can be embedded into a Notion page quite easily and can serve as great blueprints. This template is for a personal CRM, and more specifically, an upgrade from my original simple CRM template (

). I want to connect two simple CRMs (personal and professional) and connect them to a scheduling calendar. That scheduling calendar also houses a nested linked database to a task management pipeline. These connections turn a couple simple databases into a functioning system where the user can track relationships, schedule/record meetings, and turn those meetings into actionable tasks in one place. Complicated systems with multiple connections and databases can benefit with a blueprint. With that being said, I am creating templates for others. If you have an idea for your own system and want to map it out first, start small and build your way out to more databases only if they are necessary.
